I’ve always wanted to play Journey for the longest time. It’s been on my radar for years and, thanks to the iOS port, I have been able to FINALLY experience it myself. And boy, what a journey it was! The music, the atmosphere, the tension, the flying, i can go on and on! Reaching the end made my cry (it’s rare when games do that) and it’s stuck with me long after I completed it for the first time. Everything, and I truly mean EVERYTHING about this game has tugged on my heartstrings and hasn’t let it go since. Absolutely phenomenal experience, (one i highly recommend you go into blind like I did) and one that will stay with you long after the credits roll.

It’s emotional throughout, evoking depths of reflection that expands beyond gaming but an experience far greater. One of few titles PS3 left looking more powerful than Xbox 360 back when, each grain of sand, lively, active & enormous environments finely detailed. My iOS devices do, appropriately translate a more than viable version with every note as PS3, tho may not represent this port on more premium hardware, some visuals may be reduced in fidelity but made the cut fine. On iPad Mini 4, iPhone SE 3, 12 & itty bitty iPod Touch 7 all objectively convey THE “Journey” experiences in totality. With noticeable scaling between chips/resolution, an A8 the weakest SoC here still ended up being my primary play through due to a still incredible display on iPad Mini 4 & obviously this game cannot be recommended enough. Love it, by it, feel it & yea good day y’all.

A beautiful blend of game and cinema with storytelling. The experience is short but unforgettable. Well worth it.

The character is so slow and difficult to control, but if you missed one thing there is no way to turn back so you have to start all over again not from a check point, very frustrating. I want my money back.

I must say, I was a little apprehensive at first, but I gave it a chance and I am SO glad I did. What a game. There’s something about playing this that is so incredibly satisfying, yet relaxing. The musical score as you play is nothing short of absolutely freaking outstanding! Great game. Love it! Best 5 bucks I ever spent! Thank you thank you thank you!

Don’t waste your money to buy this game! It’s not worth a dime, all the positive reviews seem to be from bots or something. First of all, graphics are total trash, except for the sand, but you get tired of it pretty soon, because it’s sand, sand, sand, everywhere. Secondly, it won’t allow you to move camera as you wish to try and see where you are going to, what’s around you and so on. In some places it will forcefully move camera on its’ own. Thirdly, there are no warnings of what is going to happen, at the same time controls are extremely poor, to the point of nonexistent, and you just see the thing you need to collect after you PASS it, and it swooshes you without an opportunity to turn back; and then you have to RESTART the entire trashy game over just to collect what you missed! And that’s with you already aware of game being divided into playable areas with no return back, but you are not safe even after check point, because it won’t let you to start right at the beginning of the said checkpoint, basically you need to know in advance, what is going to happen, in order to peacefully enjoy game to the fullest. Fourthly, there are no other players, like at all, i think i met someone once, but all we could do was “chirping” at each other. There are no chat icons, no chat in the menu, not even a bubble, nothing, nada, no way to say anything, or at least show an emote or something. Extremely disappointed, i want my money back, it’s a total scam!

I been a frustrated fan of Sky for many years, i played many hours, completed the game to a sacrificing end in the Eye of Eden. Journey should've just been added to Sky. Journey is so frustrating, why would i want to play a game i walk in sludge the whole time. It's a game! Let's have fun! It's not fun, it's a mindless puzzle where you don't have full control of your very slow character that walks off cliffs. There's not even a jump button.

I love the models but I want to play with friends, not empty servers or random people, also voice chat could be useful also, guest acc could not talk to other people or see their texts, junior acc could text but not voice chat, 13+ could use voice chat ánd text, 18+ cant talk to any teen but could play with other adults, and 9 under could use chat stickers to talk but not use their own text, pls add secret accessories in the maps

Where do I even start? The graphics and visuals are astonishing, especially for the time it was released. Captivating and emotional story. Beautiful music that set the vibe. It was definitely worth the play after seeing that I could get this game as well on the appstore as an avid Sky: CoTL player. The only downside is that I feel like this game is just a one-time experience thing because all you do is complete the game, get reborn, and do the whole journey again and again and again... At that point I decided to just delete the game after. I did manage to capture a bunch of beautiful, scenic photos like I always do with every game I play though. Would recommend if you have 1-2 hours to spare in your life!

I absolutely love this game. The graphics and story are amazing and I love the never ending cycle of the journey. Very relaxing with the music playing.

If you’ve ever played sky this like a brief demo. Sky is free with in app purchases. This app isn’t worth it. Save yourself the money. What a joke. Good ideal that fails in delivery.

The endless opportunities to see yourself and your life in this game are absolutely stunning. Playing it was an exquisite experience for me.

Love journey but it isn’t optimized for iOS at all. I removed from my iPhone and requested a refund. Doesn’t play well. Can’t sign in to your PSN or account for syncing. Not great. Better on console.

It’s a good game/art but however, I’m having companion connection problems so I can’t see anyone here. I would really appreciate if you update the system for the servers, I only see just one companion through out my time I play this. So please update the system so us all mobile players can get this bug fixed now not all I mean some people don’t have this problem but I usually do so yeah if you see this, please fix this. 4 star review for one bug

Sadly at the tower level which is normally very easy, the swarms that lift you are not populating in the right place. This makes the game unbeatable. Otherwise incredible game, and indeed timeless. Flourishing on a true adventure experience.

This game is so peaceful and relaxing to play, and the music is really cool! It’s a profound journey, not your average gameplay and it really forces you to think about life differently. We all are, in a way, the main character of our own journeys.

Did not read the fine print and realized too late it doesn’t work on my phone. Which is a shame cause I loved this game on the PlayStation and wanted to play it again

The game is wonderful and if you let the game sit for a couple minutes and use headphones it plays very well. Otherwise the game lags and the audio doesn’t come through the phone.

It's a great open world Games with amazing visuals

This game does not play on an ipad 6. It constantly freezes which means refresh and go back to the beginning of the chapter. Not worth the cost.

Journey—первая сюжетная игра, в которую я играл на телефоне. Я несколько недель думал, что выбрать: Gris или Journey. Остановился на 2 варианте, ибо насмотрелся в последнее время трейлеров по ней. Я прошёл её на геймпаде и получил непередаваемый игровой опыт. Единственным минусом является отсутствие вибрации на нём. Я очень люблю игры с исключительно визуальным повествованием сюжета, в их списке и Little Nightmares. Journey немного не хватило масштаба, но от этого она не стала хуже. Огромная благодарность всем разработчикам! Вот вам мои 5 баксов)

I finally finished Journey after being stuck a bit and a couple of turn-arounds in the later parts of the story but I have to say, I was super impressed overall. Great atmosphere in the music and lighting, relaxing gameplay for the most part but definitely a few tense moments scattered throughout. I kept losing my camera control which I don’t think was intentional but very frustrating depending on what was happening. Most times I could move forward until it came back but that’s the only issue I experienced. I know games with a vague storyline and little explanation aren’t for everyone but if you’re a fan of cinematic puzzle games where you figure it out as you progress, this one is great. The more games I play under the Annapurna umbrella, the bigger a fan I become. 👏🏼

I like the open world idea but every time I jump off the platform when I reach the second checkpoint I have to log back into the game Please fix this or I’m giving u 1 star or a half
