Patreon you are not a social media app, stop trying to be one. I don’t appreciate opening the app and being accosted by things I don’t want to see. Especially things I’ve actively not subscribed to so I DO NOT see. If you must have this stupid new tab that nobody asked for or wanted don’t make it the one the app opens to.

Patreon support has been giving me the run around for 7 months. They don’t care about their customers and only reply with generic chatgpt text. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

I really wish this app would stay open and awake when I’m watching videos. There’s no reason my phone should start to dim and go to sleep when a video is playing. Both in full screen and mini player. It’s a good app but this bug is a bit annoying.

All this app ever does is randomly stop the video or completely start playing the beginning of the video over top of the end of it ?? It actually is the worst app ever

it is insane how much battery this app uses. i’ve had to reinstall the app several times which solves it temporarily but the issue crops up repeatedly. more than half my battery life gone in 2 hours

I love are you garbage and will always support them but this is genuinely one of the worst media apps ive ever used, it never properly loads, constantly bugs out and half the time it doesn’t even save my spot in videos.

Better at listening to podcasts than the podcast app and better at videos than YouTube. Kinda shocked at how surprisingly capable the app is.

Just so you know, your buggy trash app literally doesn't work. AirPlay does not work at all when I try to AirPlay through my Apple TV. It literally just doesn't work. There's a little red error thing near the play bar and nothing ever plays please fire your overpaid engineers.

The entire focus of this platform is for creators. Because regular users/fans need to use the site in order to get the special supported content, at least some investment needs to be made in their experience. Site support should spend some quality time on a robust podcast platform to get ideas on at least minimum improvements for the user experience. Here are some suggestions: Make it easy to see what has been watched versus not. Enable filtering so content already seen doesn’t show again. Add queuing capability

I have to use this app for some of my favorite podcaster’s content but it IS TERRIBLE. So glitchy, and refreshes all the time so when I’m listening to hour long episodes I have to go re-find the video I was listening to constantly. The layout isn’t great and forces you to look at a homepage that’s completely irrelevant to me. I never write review but using this app IS SO FRUSTRATING. PLEASE FIX THIS.

Definitely completely worth it to complete purchase on an external website rather than pay an Appel processing tax

Combining creator and member profiles together has made this app crazy messy, it’s much more of a pain to navigate. Sometimes it’s member stuff first, sometimes it’s creator stuff first, really making me consider other platforms.

This pivot to a more social media like style has made the app almost unusable when trying to do what we could before. It is so difficult to just find the feeds I actually PAY for. Helpful features seem to no longer exist and I have to sift through a feed I have no interest in to find what I want. What a mess.

Horrible customer service, Ive had to submit several tckets to cancel my membership, after following the instructions (kept getting a error page when doing that) yet no one has called me it’s all automated services and Im still being charged. Cancellng my card now cause they have no real people handling the customer helpline

I am a big Golden Girls fan and I have really been enjoying discovering and listening to this AMAZING PODCAST! Thank you to the hosts for creating this for everyone to enjoy! :)

I wish we could watch a video in PiP while navigating the app. I have also struggled with the filtering of videos. I listen to a podcast that offers video and audio only versions of each episode and if I try to filter the videos to ones I haven’t watched it only shows me audio despite me specifically choosing unplayed videos.

Not only is the new layout and navigation awful, but by far the worst of the update is how you’re unnecessarily making people we blocked more visible to us. I block people because I don’t want to even acknowledge they exist and previously it was great that we couldn’t see anything related to them. They were completely invisible and that even included people who replied to them and I LIKED THAT. I block to completely curate my space so I DON’T have to see those I don’t want to see. But now you’ve made them visible to me again. I blocked them so I shouldn’t be seeing their profile pic underneath the recent likes and comments. I shouldn’t see see their username or that they commented and I shouldn’t see people replying to their comments I can’t even see anyway BECAUSE I BLOCKED THEM. I don’t get why it was necessary to make this update. The block system was great and didn’t need any changing because it did what it needed to do. It hid the people I didn’t like or want to see. Please go back to making people on our blocklist completely hidden because some of us have reasons for why we want them hidden. What if the blocked person had harassed us or made us uncomfortable? It’s not fair to force users to see this.
