Best game in the whole collection in my opinion I’ve played multiple games and I always find myself coming back to this one eventually it’s a timeless classic I just wish they would expand on it more because there’s only so much you can do but the gameplay is amazing

This game comes out of my childhood and I love it so much I see that they still make even more games and even came out with a Pocket Academy 3. I wish they made another like this even Kariobotica.

I’ve really enjoyed this game on my iPhone 4 about 10 years ago. But this time doesn’t have a nice experience when the game is laggy when in the battle scence.

Once you start playing a kairosoft game you can’t stop until you perfect your run. I love the games so much boxing gym story ninja village and game dev story are top tier in my book I’ve sunk almost 300 hours combined with these games. The UI is very small and very janky but for the amount of content they fit into one game it’s totally acceptable. Very few developers put in the love and care kairosoft puts into crafting each of their games. Ninja Village is the magnum opus. Not only did they add in an entire building sim tycoon but they put in Roguelike elements by giving you a time limit and not only allowing but encouraging reruns. The other part of the game is an army fighting sim with strategy elements. not only do they pull off these mechanics in such smooth mind blowing fashion with very unique inspiring and funny pixel art but they even added in a map conquering mechanic to the game. Kairosoft seriously just trying to categorize this game into a genre would do it a severe injustice! The genre is simply: kairosoft. I love you guys i love your games I am about to go check socials and see if y’all are still around.

I played this game when it first came out and I loved it ! I beat the game in maybe a weeks time and I was actually kind of sad when I beat it. Now I’m downloading it again and I’m gonna beat it again !

In my time that I have played this game out of all the other ones really drew my attention to the company itself. This game had all of the things that I was looking for in a game very intriguing and fun game and I loved it as soon as I played it through and through. Could it have been better yes it could have but what game now a days couldn’t be better than what it came out as. All I would have to say is a better drawn out battle system a better story but besides that the mechanics and everything else about this game really still draws out the best.

Definitely old school gaming, there is a lot of grinding, some luck, and it isn't a mindless easy game. A few times you will probably hit a wall. Have to figure out what makes the city better and what warriors are most important. It could be better, I would like to have the ability to customize people, zoom out of the screen to see better in the landscape position, and a little smarter worker ai so they don't walk all over town to make some goods. Overall, very fun, old school Kiarosoft. It is similar to a mix of Edo Village/Grand Prix. *not impossible like other reviews say, lol*

No hidden payments just fun

The idea of this game is great. However, the way it was executed was not as good as it could be. The village management is ok. Though it could be better, I understand that this game is not primarily a management game. Conquest in the game is pitiful. The other AI warlords don’t ever move their armies, and on the battle map, there is almost no tactical management. You can only control which unit your archers focus on. And even then, they never really hit that target. Troop recruitment is kinda wierd. It’s messured by a number that I have no idea what it correlates to, and the max your army can be is 999. It also confuses me how the other warlords can have an army greater than 999. There isn’t much replayability because its the same senario every single time, the same villagers, the same skills...it gets boring after you learn all the exploits. The game gives you 16 in game years to unite Japan under the Shogun and defeat the end game boss. I have NEVER done this. By this point in the game, I always have at least 7 more warlords to vassalize. Because the game is just really grindy, you can never beat it within the time given. At the end of the 16 years, the game scores you based on your treasury, # of villagers, visitors, etc. Though you can still play to complete the game after 16 years, it doesn’t count toward your score. I stopped caring about it on my third play through. I honestly don’t think that this game is worth the money you have to pay to get it. Its only fun for the first few play throughs, and its impossible to beat the game in the time given.

I’ve been playing these games for a long time and I love this one the most. The combat feels fine and building your army up and steam rolling is fun as hell! Also managing your village is fun as well though they could add more villagers. This game gives you a good combination of a few of the game mechanics that they are well known for!

I truly find this game to be very fun

Attempted replaying after end game, completely lost interest and deleted after losing 20+ straight battles to armies and gangs that I out number and outgun..because they had a single hold out magically survive compared to 75% plus of of my troops still standing. Arbitrary time limits and weak win/draw system make this game a boring grind fest to complete everything.

Not very good I got far in it and like dungeon village I completed just about everything in about 4 days. I don't think Ima buy anymore kairo games at first I was impressed by them when I played SkyforceU and the pirate ship one and Grand Prix story 2 but since I've been paying 5 bucks for this one and dungeon village the two which I was most interested in they were Both letdowns so that's 10 bucks I've wasted on two games I've basically finished in the same 4 days I've had them both.!!!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY FAIR WARNING!!!!!

Great Game!

When I say little I'm talking about the 8-bit looking graphics but otherwise these games are worth hours upon hours and great to kill time!

This is my favorite Kairosoft game. I repeatedly come back to it. Beat it. Delete it. The a few months later I'll do it again. This... Do this game more.

I was playing this game for straight 3 days. The game mechanism is well build and I enjoyed playing sim city and dragon force like at the same time. Crazy addicting and I am looking forward to play next game from this company 👍

It took me 100 years to finish the story. The only thing you can do after the story is play again. How fun...
