probably my favorite rhythm game out there. first songs are super easy imo even the "super hard" versions but there are other songs. you do need some sort of premium if you want to get really hard versions. you can pick between thumb mode and finger mode which is pretty cool. i also have only played free play bc it's fun lol. i recommend ^^

Overall, a very solid rhythm game. It has co-op, but not many use that feature. Has a decent amount of free songs + progression system that gives you cosmetics/songs. They have characters with skills; and free & premium gacha. You can earn premium currency for free (also used to buy songs). Personally, I wait for sales to buy in bulk. Check their Twitter or discord for that type of stuff. The reason why I took a star off, is bc they have mandatory hurdles for leveling up and I been stuck on one for a year. I have skill issue. I wish they had an item for you to skip hurdles, because they have items to skip daily/weekly quests. Oh well. Lastly my other complaint is that they make acquiring some of the characters impossible (which is annoying) and this game does have a storyline, but only the prologue is available on mobile. Only on the stream version can you read the rest. Which you have to re-buy all the songs/DLC. This game is on its 5th year and they still haven’t added the story to mobile bc apparently they want to finish the story before doing that which… Idk that upsets me bc I do not have the capacity to play on PC and I am not willing to re-spend all that money. They are maintaining this game on mobile, but it’s all about the PC version for them.

the game itself is nice, the characters are cute and appealing, the music is good too. however the note sensitivity is the only major setback. ive done a lot of tweaking but notes still don’t register when i hit them on time, especially during fast maps or if you’re used to playing with fast hit note speed

So this is like arcaea and if you are a fan I would recommend this. However the ads are annoying. Also just a bit like osu. As a person who hates concentrating this really helped me.

The game is pretty good with cute character designs and catchy songs.

If you just want a vanilla vertical-scrolling rhythm game, this is a good choice for mobile. There's both "Thumb" charts for handheld play and "Multi-Finger" charts for tabletop play, so regardless of your device or play style you can still get a lot of mileage out of this. Songlist is solid too with some fresh faces and a lot of familiar rhythm game regulars and there's something for everyone. There is also the "slide input" mechanic which helps out thumb-based players by allowing them to slide their fingers across lanes to avoid wearing themselves out. I also greatly appreciate what I consider "standard rhythm game QoL features": scroll speed setting, mirror mode, timing offset adjustment, and early/late indicators. And on top of that, the standard judgement setting is pretty fair and allows for satisfactory play at most skill levels, but if you want to push yourself, there is the "Lunatic" judgement option with timing windows more akin to pop'n music or EZ2ON REBOOT : R, and scores are saved separately for that judgement type. This game features some nice visual customziation options. In additon to being able to modify visual skins for backgrounds, lanes, etc, you can also apply stickers to the playfield, whether it be for decoration or to obscure the playfield, either as a self-imposed challenge or to fine-tune note visibility for more precise or reactive play. It does feature some bugs and typos here and there, and amongst the community the game is infamous for its inaccurate difficulty ratings -- the general trend seems to be that newer songs tend to be easier (seriously, I've played S20s released in late 2022 that are easier than early-version S16s!!). Course-related modes leave much to be desired, either due to costing a good chunk of in-game currency or having bugs related to timing offset. Finally, while I laud the game for having thumb and multifinger modes, the hitboxes in thumb mode are unforgiving and I tend to miss notes that don't feel like they should've been misses. There's also a decent amount of free content (albeit requiring unlocking) so you can try the game out before you start to make monetary investments into the DLC packs.

The notes dont register for me half of them time. I’ve tried everything to configure the settings but nothing really works. I’m pretty sad about this because I have been looking for another rhythm game like pjsekai.

I think Kalpa is very good in music games! The songs in it are all very good!!!

i really like dis game because I like most music games but dis one is so fun I would recommend it it has great songs and it has different types if like ur a thumb player or a finger player it has that mode and if you want a random chart it has like a random chart feature so it’s so fun

This game is absolutely wonderful and is the only rhythm game that i keep coming back to. Leaving a positive note, there are a few issues. - Input/Sensory Problems. Sometimes the game won’t register your taps and it’s almost like you have to tap really hard. -Offset Problems. the offset system is..odd and is a little wonky but you can kinda work around that as it really isn’t that bad to deal with. That’s all i really have to say but this rhythm game is definitely one of the good ones and i’m very glad it’s still being updated.
