Great game that blends word game with roguelike style. Each level has a point goal that you have to meet within a certain # of words. You buy upgrades like point per letter, word score multiplier, extra word lives during each run, and equip 5 of them. Letter upgrades that increase specific letter points or word scores. Different types of runs to unlock, featuring different pros/cons, and also 10 difficulty levels to unlock that hinder, like 2 less words per level, 2 less cards per run, etc...

Bugged letter draws. I wanted to like this, and it's a fun time filler, but the letter draws are really messed up atm. Being given three words to hit 100k, having 10 letter spaces and being given 9 vowels (and again after a discard) is really janky, statistically improbable, and destroys a run. It stops being fun. Uninstalled again...

its dope. -basically a perfect scrabble/balatro without feeling blatantly derivative. -uses an unlocks system like vampire survivors, w/ the reset tree @ any time option, love that, u will too. -i found the ui kinda confusing initially, but it only took a couple runs to understand full scope. id call the ui basically perfect too. -i play w/ no audio, if it would optimize the game to remove music & make sound as cpu-light as possible, thatd be my only request. it runs perfect on my phone though.

Love the idea but I have run into a common game breaking bug. While I love Balatro I was skeptical, would I need another game like Balatro? Yes, There is enough variety, different orientation, and different strategy/less luck making this different enough. However the bug I mentioned can occur during a new game, late game, with or without upgrades, etc. No matter what word is played a life is removed and 0 NaN points are awarded. Sadly this bug has rendered the game unplayable due to frequency.

would be a perfect score if the UI was better. the phone "back" button bumps you out of the entire game. I keep clicking it to exist menus in the shop and when it kicks me to the main menu the save file skips the shop so I keep losing rounds this way.

Fun game but I'm having an issue where it doesn't properly full-screen. My notifications bar and navigation is still overlaid on top of the game, which is pretty annoying. I'm on a Samsung Galaxy Ultra, which should be widely supported. Any ideas to fix, please let me know!

Very good game! but unfortunately has some optimization/ui issues on s23. I had trouble getting through the tutorial because I couldn't close out of the text boxes, and also I can't access half of my gem upgrade list even when I scroll down. If fixed, EASY 5 Star! (edit, fixed!)

Pretty decent though I wish the UX was a bit easier to access on taller phones. I'm on a Samsung A55 and I have to activate the one hand operation mode to check things on the upper screen. I've also lost a couple of games due to the back button on the navigation bar outright ending games. It'll return you to the title screen. Hoping this gets resolved soon.

An addicting word roguelike that I've sunk hours into. Overall a well made game :). The only critiques are that the UI is a bit clunky - it takes too many clicks to restart a game for example. Should also note that the dictionary seems to be the American one, learnt that the hard way lol.

Seems like a fantastic game, but found a few bugs. 1) Using a final gambit for discard does not respect the "invert discard" settings 2) Occasionally my word multiplier becomes 0, leading all possible words to sum to a score of zero. To find a word game with no in app purchases, available as a single player and offline is not common. To also find one that provides a challenge is rare. I am extremely pleased thus far. I have not fully explored all the mechanics and potential for strategy but I enjoy the opportunity to find out.
