Love the UI, but it’s a pain to play games on. Don’t waste the time or money on this app!

Game keeps crashing due to jit not working on iOS 26. I wasted my money just to not play any games.

When I’m playing Mario party star rush the controls are going the wrong way. Can you fix it also fix Tomodachi life and the Mii maker the screen doesn’t allow me to click anything. When I try saving my state it freezes again.

I would pick 100 emulators and waste the money on the console over going back to folium, will not hold up to processing any 3ds game

This 3ds app doesn’t let you allow games

The worlds most annoying onboarding process. Somehow the developer thought ‘I can make the user tap Continue a dozen times so they see my cool modal screens’ and didn’t think twice about

The emulator was great for about a month . Still worked for gen 7 , gen 6 was barely playable , but able - couldn’t check monster summaries , but can be moved via pc to change your line-up . However now after this last update , the emulator buttons themselves don’t press . If someone in charge of debugging the app is viewing this , can we please get someone to look at the app again and revise whatever is making the buttons unable to press . As of last week , according to the date of this review , the developers have revised some of the bugs and problems with the platform . Buttons are working now , playback speed is holding together , The Only Problem With the Current Version Is the camera function in the games does not connect . If you have anything to fix this , the app will be near perfect . Thank you very much !

I did a lot of reading reviews on external sites to find a good 3DS emulator, it seemed like this is worth the purchase, but unfortunately, after spending over an hour just to figure out how to launch the ROMs, they’re all close to unplayable. I spent hours tweaking the settings, finding different installations of the ROMs, and even testing them on other emulators, and there was no way to fix the issues on this emulator, that I could find at least. I had really high hopes, thought it was wroth spending the money, and it just doesn’t hold up.

The emulator itself works fine but the audio sounds terrible and th joystick is absolute hell to deal with. Every 3 minutes it starts hard panning in a random direction and I have to slap my screen multiple times to reset. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

why can’t I map a controller in the app settings? guess I’ll just have to play games with no joy stick.

Folium just simply does not work. It cannot run as it should yet is a paid app compared to better free alternatives.

I bought this app 4 days ago and not once since then has it let me add any games. Do not buy this is a scam

It just doesn’t work very well. Frames are inconsistent and choppy on A19 Pro. I gave up trying to tweak the cytrus settings to improve performance.

I want a refund

This app used to be so simple, active community and the other emulators that were supposedly promised, but never came. The files are impossible to find, even if you do, still required the bios and bugs out, I payed money for this. This is sad. Save your money.

After the recent update the app won’t even open

If you do not have certain hardware aside from this app, this app will not work

I think it’s a fun way to play my copy of smash bros, but I wanted to put mods on and I can’t find any ways to mod the save file, and I think this app should have a built in rom patcher so you can have toad: destroyer of worlds and wolf fight eachother

I’ve wanted to love this app very bad, as a sort of more casual emulation fan/player on iOS I struggle with JIT and finely tweaking apps to fit a game. Often times I’ll break my game worse than optimize it. Every time I try and use Folium I feel like there’s an equal combination of my lack of understanding the apps features, and just a lack of customization and options available. Don’t get me wrong, when I look at the EmulationOniOS subreddit and see the developer interaction and how other people’s experiences are on here I’m overjoyed. But since day 1 this app has only been a really nice looking app that can maybe run 3DS games, but never been my go-to. I also don’t know if that is the fault of the specific core that Folium uses, but I’ve had far better success with Manic EMU nearly 100% of the time. And that’s my problem. I spent $5 here, what, 2 years ago? And despite that, I can more easily connect a controller and boot up a game on Manic than I could here, and half the time I can’t even get the touch screen controls/screen layout how I want in the first place at all. I’m not *mad* that I spent those $5, I’m glad to have supported something like this, I’m just disappointed I haven’t ever felt like I’ve gotten a quality product in return for the money.

Works very well in Miitopia and Tomodachi Life, but has huge issues. 1. The default settings are almost unplayable, and it’s difficult figuring out what you need to change. 2. Even when you manage to make it run well, some actions will completely crash your game anyway, such as attempting to access Miitopia’s villa AT ALL, or even completely randomly during battles. 3. To my knowledge, you cannot import nor export save data. If I’m wrong I’ll change my review, but at the moment i am unable. 4. It drains your phone’s battery FAST.

My Backbone One isn’t working for this app please fix this bug

iPhone 16 Pro Max Users - pretty much dysfunctional until further notice. Layout doesn’t work in landscape mode still.
