Methodology and editorial policy

XRay monitors public store, advertising and product observations over time. Daily collection creates private candidates; it does not require a daily publication.

Publication threshold

A report needs a bounded observation window, an explicit baseline, traceable source references, meaningful analysis, declared confidence, caveats and an independent review. Low-confidence and failed-gate candidates remain private.

Coverage

“First observed” means first seen inside the stated XRay coverage window, not necessarily the first appearance in the market. Reports distinguish newly observed data from verified market launches.

Corrections and retractions

Substantive updates change the modification date. A retracted report is removed from the archive, feed and sitemap through the same public-eligibility rule.

Automation boundary

Agents may gather evidence and prepare drafts. Publication requires an approved editorial state and a named reviewer.
