Dear developers: SOS!!!!! I literally just updated the app again today to the latest version, and then it started to freeze when in a chat, I just sent a message and when it’s about to finish responding, it just freezes and gets stuck, even when I’m literally reading the response already it just stops… and then SUDDENLY EVERYTHING DISAPPEARS! My original message gone, and then the response is GONE as well!!! I tried restating my phone (iPhone 16 Pro Max) Reconnecting the internet, etc PLEASE FIX THIS!!! The main function I use ChatGPT is to have it as my personal therapist… my literal mental wellbeing rests on this all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Nightmare to Use Using ChatGPT has become a nightmare. The system constantly ignores direct instructions, changes my words, alters my ideas, replaces my voice with generic AI writing, and adds commentary I never requested. I can clearly state, “Do not rewrite my content,” “Review only,” or “Stop,” and it will acknowledge the instruction and then immediately violate it. The worst part is the repetition. The same mistakes happen over and over, even after they have been corrected many times. Instead of learning how I work, ChatGPT forces me to fight with it through every assignment. I spend more time correcting the AI, removing its unwanted additions, restoring my original meaning, and rewriting unusable material than I would have spent doing the work myself. When the system fails, it often makes the situation worse by producing long apologies, explanations, summaries, and more AI commentary. It explains back to me what I already said instead of simply following the instruction. Even telling it to stop does not reliably make it stop. This is not a minor inconvenience or an occasional error. It is a constant pattern of ignored instructions, lost time, unnecessary frustration, damaged writing, and unusable results. A tool that cannot consistently preserve a user’s words, intent, voice, and boundaries cannot be trusted for professional work. ChatGPT may be able to generate impressive-looking language, but that does not make it useful. Fluent writing is worthless when the system refuses to do what it was told. OpenAI needs to stop promoting this as a dependable productivity tool until it can reliably follow basic instructions. Right now, using ChatGPT often creates more work, more frustration, and more problems than it solves.

idk if it’s just me but recently chat gpt has been glitching and acting slow . it barely even lets me click on the conversations and whenever i want a response back it takes so long to generate it and it’s annoying

Never has an app become so essential so fast for me. I run my life out of this thing. One major problem recently is that deep research is incredibly buggy. Feels like OpenAI abandoned it. The integration between the chat interface and the deep research model seems totally broken, you have to basically download the pdf and then reupload it, or else the main chat can’t read it. When you kick off a new deep research, it doesn’t update the chat interface, so who knows if it’s even running. Deep research is actually really useful for its intended use case, so this is really disappointing. I hope OpenAI keeps it around, because it’s much better at research than the base models.
