Terrible compared to Roku/Google/AndroidTV/AppleTV
50% of the time it works 50% of the amount you can use it. Takes about 10 minutes to search anything from the app to the device, keyboard inputs are laughable, and overall connection to the device is hilariously bad. I used to have a TV with Android TV that had next to zero issues and those that it had were easily overlooked. This is a terrible mobile remote for any device I’ve noticed.

Remote App
The only keys that will work are the voice button and the keyboard. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, reset my WiFi, made sure my software is it’s, restarted my phone. I lost the original remote, bought a replacement that didn’t work and had been using the app as alternative and for a few weeks now, the keys on that won’t work either. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!!

Not the best time
I’m not happy with the failure of this new remote that is not working for me. My fire tv came with a remote that didn’t work for long and I replaced the remote with the $34. Replacement one that paired, but it too had a short life span. The remote from September was frustrating because it has not yet worked for a consistent time to be able to depend on it to work while and the reason I bought this one thinking I just got a dud.
I can’t remember having to push any button twenty plus time for it to go on to the next letter. This seems like a scam, giving you a steal of a deal for the fire tv and having a remote that is the main money maker.
