This is a great game. I’ve played since I was a kid myself and now I get to show it to my kids??? I’m obsessed I wish there was so much more. It’s amazing low stimuli search and find, with fun hidden details and interesting finds this game is just amazing.

It’s a very interesting game. Hand drawn. Humans create all the sounds. There’s nothing like it. You can play at any speed you want.

I always feel like a kid when I play this game. Keep up the good work and do more updates please. I love the new music festival update, and I really want more for this game. It is sad to see such a good creator stop making good stuff so early. I also loved the snow update and the beach update. I swear when I look at the logo on my iPad it looks like the person in it is waving at me like “Hey, come play me!”

I can play this game for hours! It gets more challenging the longer you play and unlock new levels. The animations are cute and funny. I like to play on the airplane.

I’ve been loving this game for years. I take a break after completing all the challenges and come back to it and often find new details I’d missed before. I’m DYING for a new level (or three), but I’m a fan forever. I’ve even found jigsaw puzzles by the artist and they are among my few prized possessions. I love this artist, and you will too.

But eventually it gets better

It’s relaxing. I like the black and white vs all color. I like being able to move something to find a person. I have no complaints.

The game presents a series of scenes and your goal is to find the objects listed along the bottom: certain people, a golf ball, a saw, a banana, etc. All the scenes are hand drawn, animated, very large, and a lot of fun. All sounds in the game are noises composed by voice. Some of the objects are out in the open but the scenes are so large it takes some searching. Some are slightly hidden from view but not impossible to find. In each scene there are a few objects that are crazy hard to find, completely hidden in places you don’t expect. With each object comes a clue which adds an extra dimension to the game. Could be a casual fun game IF you have a lot of patience. Could also drive you crazy if you don’t. I must admit I resorted to Google to find a few of the hard ones. Looks and works great on the big screen of an iMac with trackpad. Excellent artwork. Simple yet challenging. Well worth the price. Fantastic game.

I am not one to leave reviews but being I am currently working my way through a second play through of the game - and still thoroughly enjoying the experience - I had to give praise where it is due. It is so hard to find the perfect hidden object game but Hidden Folks absolutely nails it. It has the perfect blend of minigames baked within every few levels and dry, flat humor that is bound to make you breathe hard through your nose. The city scene is truly a masterpiece, if I could pdf the map to print for my wall I would. The artwork is simply that enjoyable throughout the game; even though simple in concept, the level of detail is truly astonishing. I could stare at them for hours and still find something happening! If you’re looking for a game that will satisfy that “itch” for a perfect app, this is for you. The amount of passion, time, and effort put into each level is evident down to the individual descriptions of objects. To the developers - it is noticed and it is GREATLY appreciated!! The people that get it, get it. The developers behind this app CLEARLY do. This is a console quality/worthy game that I would expect to see from a high budget studio, the low price of the app is beyond fair for the experience the app provides. I sincerely hope the team has plans for releasing additional maps or a second edition. :)

I’ve had this game downloaded for several yers and I always come back to it. I’ve played it at least a dozen times, and I’m sure I’ll continue to play to it every few months. It never gets boring. The illustrations are adorable, the little sounds are delightful, and the clues are sneakily spot on. And bonus points- there are no ads to deals with! I really hope the developer makes a whole new game just like this or at least adds another area to this one.

So much detail was put into this game. Not just finding the hidden objects, but also the animations, the sounds, the hints, and the Easter eggs! Lots of fun with no pressure.

I’m disappointed that many of the hidden objects/people are hidden out of view until its location is interacted with by touching the screen. For example, a hidden person or object is often completely obscured behind a door, bush, rock, plant or one of many other possible objects that require you to touch in order to “move it out of the way” in order to find the hidden object behind it. I want to be able to find the hidden objects by closely looking around the image, not by randomly touching dozens and dozens of moveable objects in the hopes that a hidden object is behind one of them or by needing to constantly rely on hints. It’s not a fun challenge; it’s just tedious and boring. I generally like the art style and I feel that it has good potential for being a game about finding hidden objects. Unfortunately, I primarily played with the audio muted because the amateurish style was annoying to listen to after a few minutes. Overall, I’m just disappointed that so many of the hidden objects cannot be found by simply looking at the image. For this reason, I do not recommend this game.

So fun. So gorgeous.

The things that make this game special are the crisp black and white inkpen illustrations that stave off eye fatigue while endlessly searching through the details, the clever little riddles that accompany the key and serve as helpful hints to finding the objects, the charming lo-fi sounds programmed to respond to the touch of every detail of the illustration (I love the stupid “beep” of car horns or the silly “help” of the shipwrecked), the inventive little mechanisms that evolve with each new level to make the scenes interactive and slightly more challenging, and the overall humorous tone of this world of village idiots. I love that little jokes like the mushroom and the blueberry carry over multiple levels and that one factory employee requires hanging out by a tire fire to get her nicotine fix. I finished the game over a boring three day weekend and now I am in mourning because I know it’s over and they aren’t making more levels. Perhaps this world doesn’t deserve more levels of this incredible game!

I love the sounds, all made by human voices. The puzzles are challenging as well.
