Love this game. Please make another one. Maybe start out a bit less abstract to onboard better.

UPDATE: 4/25/2026 Game is completely unplayable now because the last level, putting the flowers on the tree, has never been fixed! So you can’t win. Why bother if the dev never updates this game?! I’m honestly angry and heartbroken because this used to be my favorite game! Now I have to delete it. It’s a real shame! 😡😢 Btw: The new Bacon in Zane game is riddled with ads, so I think it’s safe to say I won’t be downloading this guy’s content again. played other games by this developer, like Bacon and Okay. Both were fun in concept, but Okay got hard way too quickly, and Bacon is loaded with ads! Original Review: Song of Bloom is very different! I read that it took a year and a half, and it shows! It’s very creative, but you may need a walkthrough, because it’s very confusing, even a little convoluted! But I played through the game twice now, and I absolutely love it! Just a couple of things that keep it from a 5 star game: 1) There’s a bug at the end (the final puzzle) where you put flowers on the tree. The game didn’t register that I’d finished the level, so it technically didn’t end the game lol! Please fix this bug! 2) The origami level with the red roof was very frustrating and took me way too long to finally do! Also, the puzzle where you “bloom” the flowers was very confusing and ultimately very aggravating! This game is not very forgiving at all! If there are more glitches, I’ll update this review, but other than what I’ve mentioned, the game runs pretty smoothly! The art and music are both incredible, and I definitely recommend you play Song of Bloom at least once - you’ll love it! Just know that it’s very short, maybe 45 minutes to an hour. Advice (maybe a mild spoiler): Make sure you’re near your phone or iPad charger before you play, you’ll need it!

I spent 1.99$ for this app and the game won’t even load. Wasted my money. It won’t load pass start of a new beginning on the iPhone 17 pro max

The only reason this isn’t a five star review is because it was so short. I completed the game in about an hour. That being said, the game was beautiful and thought provoking, and easily one of my top ten favorite mobile games I’ve played this year.

look i dont normally do reviews but this desverved it. i beat the game in like an hour but every second of it was amazing. you have to figure out a bunch of puzzles and while figuring out the puzzles you get a bloom flower type thing. truly amazing would recommend.

Glitched and wouldn’t move beyond the first sequence

Me and my boyfriend played this together, and he’s currently tearing up at the ending. We both say this is absolute cinema. Thank you Philipp for giving us this game and many more!

This game was absolute cinema. I heavily enjoyed the nonlinear storytelling, as well as the repetition mechanics. It really made me think about the various symbols scattered throughout the story and left me combing over scenes I thought I was done with. It's such a good puzzle game, I honestly wish there was more.

This is one of the greatest games I’ve ever played! We all deserve more fun and art in our lives and this game is it!! 100/10 I need more games like this.

i love this game it’s fun but really short. you’re probably not making a sequel, but at the very least can you make a button in the game that restarts it so i can play it through again from the beginning? thanks

I couldn’t figure out at all how to navigate from one level to the next and had to keep starting from the beginning. This meant that I had to repeatedly solve the same puzzles over and over. Is this intentional? Some were easy to repeat but some were not and it quickly became frustrating and lost its appeal. Some puzzles seemed pretty cool and I was looking forward to playing more but ended up deleting. Way too obscure to be fun. Cheers for those who figured things out and were able to play it. I’m not one of them. I’m one of the ones who wonder if the game is obscure for the sake of being obscure. And re: the review that said how the dev is unresponsive - there is really no room in my heart for unresponsive devs. Imo, this game is poorly designed which makes it not fun to play.

better than the whole country of norway

i was not expecting this much detail from such a cheap game. it was better than any puzzle game ive ever played. i dont usually leave reviews for games, but this one needed one. i loved the interactive aspect, using the volume buttons, plugging in your phone, shaking it, etc. it was fun and kept me motivated to play, honestly! i only ask that we get a sequel of some sort soon!

This game is the best game I have come across… ever. It is so immersive and has you playing nonstop until you finish. The only complaint I have is that it is too short. It would be wonderful to have an update, or an add-on or something like that. Also, I was wondering why this game had (only) 4.8 stars, so I read the reviews. The one star reviews are from people who didn’t understand the game or thought it had bugs, but really it was meant to be played a different way than the way they were playing, for example, one review said that it ended when it said “a new beginning” or someone else said that it just kept taking them back to the start, but really they just had to interact and get through the puzzles. And it would be nice to have some kind of walkthrough or extra hints. This is the longest review I have written, but it is just because this game is so outstanding. This is my first game review. This is a beautiful, thought-provoking, melancholy experience that’s more art than game in the best way possible. Playing this game felt like stepping into a well-designed mixed media museum exhibit. The only downside is you can only play this game for the first time once. 5 stars, enjoy with a nice cup of tea

Absolute amazing experience. This is what mobile gaming SHOULD be; something with real sustenance. Although, the lack of replayability is mildly upsetting. STILL, I wish there there were more mobile games like this, and that this game would get the attention it truly deserves. Best mobile game of all time

Huge fan of this and really looking forward to whatever Phillipp works on next. The paddles on the ping pong level don’t work for me tho, I’m on the latest iOS on an iPhone 15
