I want a refund
TLDR: I’m a long time player of AT4, probably hundreds of hours.

No point to point routes
You have no choice than to be a strictly hub and spoke airline. You can not have any point to point routes, which you could have in previous versions. I hope they add it back.

Why this app keep charging my account after purchasing

Down grade from 4
I had 4, and sadly bought 5 thinking it would be better, but it wasn’t. I deleted 5 as reloaded 4.
This game series, though fun is still very far from true airline operations.
In 5 you still can’t even fake a point-to-point system. At least in 4 you can connect cities wherever, but in 5 this was removed because it won’t let your fly out of a non hub airport to another until you spend tons of money and years if time. Instead of them fixing the AI from randomly copying your routes, they just removed the ease of making routes. So even in version 5 why did you remove creativity and I still can’t use 1 plane to fly a point to point system? Example LAX-DEN-ORD-JFK. This route can be done out and back once a day with 1 plane. But instead I need to buy 4 planes just to go one way...but I can’t do this even in version 5 like I could 4. This game now is truly an old school hub and spoke game, that doesn’t apply to today’s economics.
You also still can’t take out loans to grow (because they want you to buy their game money with real money even after you bought the game). You also still can’t sell stock to raise money, because of the before mentioned reasons. This game also doesn’t follow any international rules such as a prohibiting a foreign airline operating in domestic airspace. Example: An USA based airline cannot start operating flights between European cities. This is called cabotage and is illegal, but happens in all these versions (FIX THIS!!!).

Great game, but needs minor improvements
Absolutely love this game! However, it really would benefit from adding some more airports, particularly in regions that aren’t as well represented (Africa, South Pacific, Caribbean, etc.). Also, it would be great to see the option to make ANY airport a hub, and when doing so, allow the hub to gain more demand as routes are added, much in the same way that real airports operate. Additionally, I’ve noticed that the longer you play, eventually the airline loses profitability, no matter what you do to counteract it.

Your airline WILL lose money, so you have to buy cash.
This version is like the others, but more irritating. Your airline will eventually lose money. The only way to advance is to buy real cash to TRY and succeed. 5 years later, you’ll be in the same boat...losing money for no reason. The AI players explode, and never seem to lose money.

Terrible Game
They took what was a pretty good game with air tycoon 4 and absolutely ruined it. It’s impossible to run a good airline because fuel costs are so high. The “branch” office idea is asinine. It really is a shame. Don’t but this game at all.

AT4 is much better.
Version 5 seems to be full of pointless changes to the interface and more artificial constraints (such as only a few selected cities where you can put your first hub, as opposed to AT4 where you can hub wherever you want and operate unlimited point to point flights). The new features I would hope to see would be more cities and the ability to have connecting traffic instead of relying solely on point to point operations. I’d love to try a new version of AT that has those features and brings back the best of version 4. For now, I’ll stick with version 4.

Good job Air tycoon!
Much better than any other previous Air tycoon game.I know it’s harder but isn’t that more realistic?I was surprised to find COMAC in the game!Why only 2stars?People just don’t know how to play.I have one complain though.This game crashes more often than any other Air tycoon game I’ve played.Still 5+ stars!

Why this game is worse
To start the only thing I liked that they added was the hubs themselves that it.
I disliked how I can’t run any regional routes or short routes like say Memphis to Montreal. I also suggested last time they add a few more airports like Reno which they didn’t do and they made it hard to get other cities to fly out of

Major step down from AT 4
Like other reviewers pointed out, this entry removes many of the improvements contained in Air Tycoon 3 and 4 while adding very little in return. Get Air Tycoon 4 instead.

Crashes constantly
Not as easy to navigate at AT4 and the new hub system is interesting. With the implementation you should be able to “feed” hubs like real like maybe have their ratings increase the more routes you have starting and stopping in that location? Outside of a system like that it really doesn’t make much sense to have hub based system. The point-to-point you could do in AT4 was much more efficient. That being said I appreciate the new and updated planes. The app crashes constantly and I lose progress all the time. Until that gets fixed I may have to migrate back over to 4

Disappointing
I was looking forward to this release as I’m a big fan of AT4. I thought there would be new cities, updated planes etc. It’s all the same - just with different music and a clunkier interface. Don’t waste the money.

Major Step Back
Air Tycoon 4 was a huge leap for the dearies, but this iteration is utter garbage. The game is incredibly difficult to play and it honestly feels closer to the first Air Tycoon then the last.
Download Air Tycoon 4 other than this one.

Better game than AirTycoon 4
Game in general is not much different than the previous version. It is the same with subtle changes graphically and few other tweaks here and there. I welcome them.
Advertising and customer service is not by geography. They are by city of each route. The rules that were put in the game for creating routes are not for casual gamers. I can see that. Getting profits are not easy and straight forward. You have to remove all the wrinkles or to balance them in order to be profitable.
My biggest issue is the awkward placement of close button on each screen. This is a big downer for me. UI layout is confusing at times.
Otherwise, it is a better game than previous versions.
