Join Alto and his friends and set off on an endless sandboarding journey to discover its secrets.

Soar above windswept dunes, traverse thrilling canyons, and explore long-hidden temples in a fantastical place far from home.

Along the way, you’ll grind across vines, bounce atop hot air balloons, ride towering rock walls, and escape mischievous lemurs – all while uncovering the desert’s many mysteries.

Great game, progress didnt save after deletion

its a great game, however i decided to upgrade my phone after completing the game and now all my progress is deleted for some reason (ingame). It says i have 19/26 achievements but opening the game prompts the tutorial

My favorite laid-back game!

When my dad introduced Altos Adventure to me, I ended up really enjoying it. That was pretty long ago and I still have it on my phone. When I found Altos Odyssey, I was really excited and happy to play it. Safe to say, I am a long time fan of these games. The music is amazing and the background art is gorgeous. 5/5!!!

Awesome graphics and music, very calming… looks great! It’s awesome for when you’re going without WiFi.

The only thing I would consider changing is adding more structures and weather, which would make it more interesting than it already is.

Make Sure You’re Not in Silent Mode

The audio is an essential component for this gem of a game. However, if you have silent mode turned on (so your phone will only vibrate when notifications come through), the audio won’t work in this app. Your music, podcasts, and other game apps may work…but this one won’t. Turn off silent mode and enjoy the game

A lovely game with poor weighting

I played a lot of Alto’s Adventure when it first came out, advanced to the final levels, and loved it. I played this a bit as well when it was first released, but fell off. I grabbed the remastered version today on Arcade+ and realized it’s a much better difficulty weighting and biome spawning. It feels way easier to progress.

The developer did update the Arcade+ version with a remastered label so I’m guessing a lot of these fixes came since then. It’s a shame. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing this version, which is inferior. I just don’t like having endless subscriptions only use for one game that should be $5. I’d happily pay for the remaster. Once.

The music

This game is the most relaxing and addicting game I have played in a long time. I am disappointed that the music is not working it might be a bug in my phone but if it is a problem with the game, it would be much appreciated if that could be fixed.

What happened to haptic feedback?

can’t advance

Wall ride to backflip across a chasm doesn’t seem to exist. Been playing for days now and that combination doesn’t come up. The ability to wall ride and then backflip across a chasm.

Almost Perfect

I love this game and play it often, but hate that it’s always dark in the game. The only way to play it when it’s in its over used night time phase is by putting the brightness all the way up on device, and even then, it’s still too dark. It needs to be more even with the cycles.

Paz is literally the most boring one of all, no tricks, all he has is speed, I can nearly do challenges with him because he is just a poor character, literally makes me want to delete the game cause I know I can never beat this mission as this guy, everything else is good but Paz is so unplayable, and sooooo boring

Great to relax

If you have an anxiety, pick this game up. Play when you feel it creeping. Make sure the sound is on. It helps calm me down. Only thing I wish for is a larger pause button. Sometimes it takes me a few tries.

Please fix ur bugs

It takes 50min to travel ~70000m and 2M points, the game crashes every time I get to this long. In particular, the screen abruptly turns grey then the distance becomes 0m and it says be careful with the rocks, it’s very frustrating.

Less features than before

I’ve returned to playing this game after some time away. While it’s as beautiful as ever I’ve noticed a couple features I enjoyed before are now missing, including the ability to travel through all biomes (now requires paying to choose one at a time) and the ride mode which was basically no scoring and no dying, you could just cruise endlessly. I loved that mode for airplane rides, just put me in a zen-like state. Still enjoy the game but wish it had those options.

I never write app reviews, but the type of game Snowman has made has continued to soothe my soul all these years later. I hope the team makes a new entry because, in a sea of half-baked click bait games, Alto’s story is the only one that brings peace to my phone. It’s been two years since the last update and I dread the day the game is taken down or is too buggy for modern iOS.

Easiest 5 stars ever!

This game is absolutely amazing! The art style and soundtrack fit the game so well and always help me to feel calm and less stressed whether it's regular or zen mode. The fact that you can play without any internet connection is something that becomes so useful on plane rides or road trips. This game is just as good, if not better, than it's precursor, Alto's Adventure, which I recommend just as much as this game. Alto's Odyssey is simple to understand yet challenging at the same time and makes the experience feel exceptionally well rounded. I 100% recommend this game to anyone as you are getting SO much more than the amount you're paying for it. I've never felt so strongly about any other mobile game and would easily give it 10 stars if I could.

Really needs more bug fixes

I have had a lot of bugs with this game. I have phased through bunting lines or just hit the barest edge of a rope bridge only to somehow crash because it was counted as a cliff. I have also perfectly executed the second goal at level 59 only to see that it didn't count.
