Still the GOAT

X-com is the greatest strategy turn based game of all time I played xcom with my brother growing up each of us controlled 3 characters on missions and it was a great way to experience the game absolutely amazing

Love the game. And I pray for more versions and older series revitalizations.

I play XCOM many times.  Like chess the variables are countless and fun to engage the challenges.  My GOTO escape. The difficulties are at a level I choose. I ask to debug the lockups.  Crash reporting is helpful.  Why can’t I get this game on Android phone products? Please figure out the overheating and heavy battery consumption problems. Revitalize, improve, and combine the older (Past, Special, ground, air, sea, and space) series.  I almost lost my phone when I let a 20 year old play the game…

glitch

Excellent game indeed

I am having tons of fun playing this game. It is very nostalgic, I mostly prefer the interface to the console version, and it runs great, even on my several-years-old iPad.

As of version 1.6.1 cannot open game. It fails in attempt to connect to Feral servers when opened. Cellular & refresh both on.  update: Reseting game preferences from Settings solved this issue. Thanks to expedient developer response.

Best turn-based strategy game ever, perfect port

Best turn-based strategy game ever, and a perfect port. Haven’t found anything else quite as deep yet intuitive, other than XCOM 1. Port is perfect, controlling these games via touchscreen actually feels more intuitive than controller or mouse/keyboard.

Awesome besides no controller support

Urgent need of repairs to latest update. It’s a 50/50 chance if game will get past initial launch screen and takes forever to do both.. Runs way too hot I can’t tell if I need performance or battery saver mode?

Unplayable

I paid for this game and downloaded it. It then requires more downloading, and repeatedly fails at the “verifying downloads” step. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, and done this on multiple iOS devices. Unplayable game, should be pulled from the App Store until fixed.

Enough Bugs

I was patient as a day one installer; I get that things need fixing early in a huge release. I’ve been patient. Enough is enough. Once again the latest update has rendered my game unplayable. Oh I know the fix. And now if I want to play this game, once again I will have to delete it entirely and do a cold install. How many gigs is it again? It is an unreasonable ask, especially for high-cost alleged premium content. What was my favorite and most-played game has become a hassle to get at, which is the opposite of why I paid $$$ for this product.

Update

Ever since I downloaded this update, can’t get past. The feral screen app worked fine before the update. Now my phone just keeps overheating when I load it.
