Seemed interesting at first but has no real depth. Maybe after some content updates or expansions it could be worth the money, but at the moment feels like a demo more than anything. Concerning to see there are already in app purchases available.
★★★★★neutralJohn Wallace-Howell · 2026-08-20 · v1.7.0
A very good and interesting game. I think there needs to be work about some series of events. I got Burnham'd, but I had 50%+ support from all 4, so I have no idea how it worked. I also think keeping backbenchers happy is almost impossible, even if the media and public love you, which feels very unrealistic. Backbenchers want to keep their jobs, and having them furious when the public love me is really weird.
★★★★★neutralStuart Butler · 2026-08-19 · v1.6.0
This is well written and I'm glad I got it but ultimately it's pretty unsatisfying. Some things that prompt this are: Little sense of who decisions will annoy (and how much) until you choose. Poor scenario choice :"The public don't trust you" when they do, you've lost your cabinet's trust by publishing everything - any response to the scenario (which isn't realistic) will bring you down. Although scenarios are random, it settles into a pattern around the 5th go with the same opening set.
★★★★★neutralConnor O'Flynn · 2026-08-19
A bit shallow and ambiguous. The design is beautiful, the thematics and writing are top notch. But the actual mechanics leave much to be desired. Firstly, there isn't anything that suggests what each group of stakeholders desires. Like why does my cabinet hate the people having health-care? Do they ever change? I think having party affiliation is key, opposition instead of or in addition to backbenchers with specific goals for each party.

Very entertaining game that's well worth a couple of quid. Is it possible to disable the 45 second time out when playing with friends? It might have been the beer, but we'd often run out of time when reading the dispatch out loud.
★★★★★negativesimon green · 2026-08-19
Thought there'd be a bit of strategy, but no. Just answer multi choice questions and your various ratings go up or down according to your answers. There's nothing else to do. Boring
★★★★★positiveNick Hunter · 2026-08-19 · v1.6.0
worryingly accurate
★★★★★positiveJessica Devine · 2026-08-18 · v1.7.0
Fun, witty, just the right kind of difficult.
★★★★★positiveSophie Norman · 2026-08-18 · v1.6.0
Pretty fun so far, and I really love that there are no ads or anything! It would be great if there was sound and music too
★★★★★negativeRowan Neville · 2026-08-18 · v1.6.0
Expected far more. After 3 PMs it is repeated content with honestly little depth to any of it. The GUI reeks of Claude AI which makes me skeptical of any originality underneath, from storytelling to the generated names.
★★★★★positiveJonathan · 2026-08-18 · v1.7.0
Absolutely brilliant very witty and easy to use.
★★★★★positiveTom Ross · 2026-08-17 · v1.6.0
brilliant fun
★★★★★neutralWallace Andrews · 2026-08-17 · v1.6.0
While I knew the game would not be deep, its very shallow, and writing and outcomes are inconsistent and sometimes very unclear. *Edit* I originally scored lower because there is UI similarities with several AI games and rated believing there was failure to disclose AI. I've been informed there is no AI elements and updated my review accordingly and made wording less harsh.
★★★★★positiveCrystal S · 2026-08-17 · v1.6.0
Read about this game on the beeb website. Wasn't sure what to expect but it's a fun way to pass the time! Well worth the small fee, nice to play a game that isn't stuffed with ads.
★★★★★negativeJon Wilson · 2026-08-17 · v1.6.0
I think there is a bug with the sound. I can't hear anything, music or sound effects while playing the game. it isn't my phone that's the issue as all other sound from my phone is working.
★★★★★positiveLeila Rasheed · 2026-08-17 · v1.6.0
Funny and distressingly realistic.
★★★★★positiveMentions pricingEliot Gusdorf · 2026-08-17 · v1.6.0
A fantastic game that I've accidentally sunk waaaaay too much time and lost an unexpected amount of sleep diving through. Finally getting to live out my The Thick of It/In The Loop/Yes, (Prime) Minister dreams. I finally have an outlet for my otherwise unhelpful knowledge of the UK political system and drama as an American. What a find that is worth every cent. I hope there will be even more expansions and development, as I can't wait to purchase them!
★★★★★negativeDan Philpot · 2026-08-17 · v1.6.0
how can I lose a no confidence vote when I have the support of 75% if my back benchers
★★★★★negativeCraig F · 2026-08-17 · v1.6.0
I got to 3 years 9 months or so, had 92% cabinet backing, 82% back bench, public was also high and media 58% when i was booted out on a vote of no confidence. One story line, which you can't affect, a mayor from Hull, gets in the news, I went along with her, she gets made an MP - no other candidates to challenge her, soon as she gets in office calls a vote of no confidence, which I was totally confident of winning, nope a Sudden end of lost my cabinet. Just totally naff and repetitive.
★★★★★positiveHeather Law · 2026-08-17 · v1.6.0
Found this via the write up on the BBC website, it's remarkably fun!
★★★★★neutralMartin Nash · 2026-08-17 · v1.6.0
I like the concept, but possible to lose when do well. Managed 3 years and 4 months on my first go, but the Queen of the Humber story seems impossible to win. Had high ratings across the board for each faction, especially cabinet but says I feel to the cabinet with 0% scores for each faction. Seems impossible to avoid being ousted in this scenario. Something more akin to the latest polls or a map of support across the country would make it feel more real beyond the faction percentages.
★★★★★negativeElzie · 2026-08-17 · v1.6.0
it's fun but very obviously made entirely by Claude - from the visuals to the text, even the names make it so obvious that no human creativity was used to make this game.
★★★★★positiveJack Turner · 2026-08-16 · v1.6.0
bloody hilarious!
