Beautiful art & soundscaping
It’s impressive. The stunning visuals are my favorite part of this, but the sweet details like the mother and her daughter’s relationship with each other make it even better. The lost forest add on is also really nice! It’s a bit tricky though.

4$ for my 8yo to finish it in one day
We had this game years ago and it lasted months - we never made it to the end I don’t think. They’ve made it 4$ and taken away a ton of levels. I paid for two app (the OG and the 2nd monument valley) bc we love the game but both were completed in one day. Total rip-off and a huge shame to create something so cool and then make it so disappointingly short lived when years ago, it was free and we got to play it for a very long time.

Looks good, not much to play
The game is well made. It’s smooth, visuals look good, and the controls are decent, but it’s not much of a puzzle at all. It never gets more challenging than it is on the first level.
Each new level introduces a slightly different mechanic, however it’s all pretty much just the same basic puzzle over and over.
There are no levels that combine multiple mechanics, so every time you beat one section, you never see that mechanic again. It does not build upon itself. I beat the whole thing very casually relatively quickly so it was a pretty big letdown based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews. I never had to think about to solve the puzzle, you just rotate until it’s correct.
Not a good buy for adults who like puzzle games.

This game is so much fun especially when you’re in the car in where is anywhere you don’t need Internet and it’s awesome. There’s no ads so you can play for as long as you want and don’t have to be harassed by something you don’t wanna be looking at.

Loved the first one and this one absolutely outdid it
For whatever reason I missed that this game had two sequels! I just beat this one in a single evening and man... visually stunning, bits of poetry to ponder, cool set pieces and new mechanics, a gorgeous and genuinely moving soundtrack by Todd Baker (his musical sound design work is amazing, he worked on Tearaway, Dreams and LBP), and the puzzles felt fresh and intuitive with just enough difficulty to give me pause and make me feel smart and satisfied with the solution but not enough to frustrate me to take me out of the game (I'm too stupid for Baba is You lol). Anyway fantastic game I would easily pay $15 just for the experience even though it's a short iOS game. Please use headphones!!!

Reminds me of back when life had such beautiful moments

The beauty of this game
I think it’s nice to have a game like this the first and second are very good even though I haven’t got through a second one. This one also reminds me of my sister and me very much it might teach people some lessons and help them get through life. I think it’s a really good game. It’s nice. It has peaceful music and just it’s nice to calm down with the screen and if you do, I would recommend this game. it’s very nice peaceful and it’s like you have grace and God and Jesus is all around you so I really think this is a really good game.

Cannot progress past level 9
Worked great until latest ios update. Now it keeps resetting to level 9 and will not continue past this level.
