Ad issues
There are issues with some of the ads in which it stops and I don’t get credit so I can continue my play. It is very annoying and it seems like it is done on purpose. I sent a message about it thru the app but nothing has changed.

Project Takeover
This app used to be more player friendly. Rewards used to extend lives and obtain items for your avatar. Those reward levels have decreased in value received and been replaced with a multitude of in-app purchase choices, at higher prices! The original rewards (rubies, avatar cash, bonus cards, etc.) are harder to obtain, diminishing the original enjoyment. I am excited about improvements to avatars but losing interest in playing the original game due to constant pressure to make an in-app purchase. The game developers have lost sight of why we play games…it’s to escape from the pressures of real life and feel good about winning.

I’ve loved this game for years I almost never leave app store reviews but this game deserves a shoutout. In an era of AI slop, the devs of Project Makeover continue to employ REAL ARTISTS to create illustrations for the game. Some of these illustrations are only meant to be viewed for a few seconds — when starting a new makeover, or when viewing the collectible cards — and yet, every illustration is crafted with care. The art style has not changed since the advent of AI, and it makes me so happy. EVERYTHING in this game is well thought-out, from the way the propellor power-ups dart in different directions as they search for the spot they’re most needed, to the animated flairs when completing a makeover action. There are countless details like this that make this game feel like someone puts actual craftsmanship and care into its care, and the quality has only gotten better. It feels well-maintained, not hollow like MOST other mobile games. The team at Project Makeover did not have to put all these details in, but they did — and THAT is worth five stars.

Updates…
Updates are pushed out.. so leader board will say that the app has an update. But no where in the app is an update option. It puts me behind on finishing it. Top cliques what if done with in a day or so. If not you get removed.

Really good game, just like you have a certain amount of time and a certain amount of lives. Also, it’s not good that you have to spend money sometimes. It’s not required though. Lives come back after no more than five minutes. Fun makeover game. Nothing like the pictures, but that’s not what I was expecting. Really really like it. You’re on a show and you decorate people’s homes and you’re the director. Decorate peoples homes and help them get all cleaned up and you decorate their body and play candy crush to get coins. Awesome game I love it.

A multitude of mindless tasks
I thought this was fun for the 1st level. Then level 2 made you buy each little item for the makeover. Then more mini games started appearing. The ads to purchase in game items became more numerous. The prompts to spend your earned purchasing power was relentless. Hated it. Just make a fun game that you earn your in game purchase power with puzzles. Don’t make it so flipping complicated game devs!

Frustrated
Why on earth would this game stop letting us earn money when there are no more episodes. I even tried to stop making over my character so I could keep earning but it stopped me when I had enough for the full makeover and reveal. It makes e want to quit this game forever.

Billing process?!
Hello developers. I’m a player of your game and I come to find out that I allegedly have to PAY 8$?! For one of your London game passes even though I never did?!😀 and now I can’t download other apps that I dearly enjoy because of this ridiculous reason. You are getting 1 star review for 1: not letting me take off the badge award for unlocking items after beating hard levels and 2: you didn’t let ME as a player know in advance that I had to pay for this ticket. Fun but goes no where
Love the idea of the game. It’s a good distraction game. But the price of each item jumps drastically from the first makeover to the next one. You have to beat puzzle games to gain the money to do a makeover and they very quickly become hard to beat. I have been stuck on the same customer for three days because I can’t beat any puzzles to make enough money for the crazy demands they want for her. It’s only my third customer and I can help her. Also whenever I open the app it gives me ad, after ad after ad and opens up new tournaments. It takes 5 minutes just to play. And you can just close the box. You have to hit play and the. Back out of each ad ,

Disappointing for a fashion game
The puzzle aspect of this game is decent. Not the best but not the worst. The back to to back events are a bit overwhelming but it keeps me coming back. Where this game absolutely fails is how heteronormative it is. This is a *fashion* game. You’re telling me my masc character (which already has terrible, boring, makes me want to delete the game because what do you mean I have to be a female to get constant new clothing options) has to wear masc clothing and not female clothing too? A fashion game enforcing heteronormative ideals? Seriously? Have you ever been to a fashion show? Ever been on the sight of actual shows like this? It’s ridiculous and infuriating.
