This game is so rigged.
Don’t waste your time. I’ve been playing for about 2 years. And was a pay member for a couple months.
Every time I tried to progress to level 100 at around 86 I seem to encounter nothing but decks that were able to cancel everything I do.
No matter how many times I switch decks.
And they claim to have so many different zones. But I constantly run into the same negative types zones. Even when they are not a hot zone.
I’ll escape and the same zone will pop up in the very next game. That happens even if I escape 2 games in a row and the same exact negative zone pops back.
Updated: Yep…I’m permanently gone now. The balancing that the developers are doing is messing up the game.
And they keep making cards that are rendering past cards useless.

Too much
This is one of the most fun mobile games I have ever played. However, it feels like you have to constantly play to barely keep up. I have hundreds of cards but only two decks I truly feel are strong. I love marvel and I love this game but I can’t keep up with all of the cards being added and neither can anyone else, especially someone just starting out, unless they spend hundreds of dollars.

Addicted to this card battle game
If you’re a fan of the comics and also quick games, this one can be addictive. You can generate numerous decks to play with to keep things interesting and seeing how different cards interact with each other to generate high points unexpectedly. The only game I play daily

Battery drain, buggy, Infinite ranking means nothing
Oh hey, SD team! I’ve been playing for over 3 years and this game is very addictive and fun to play. However, there are a few frustrations for the regular player.
First, I *finally* made it to Infinite after two years of playing 7+ hours/week but not purchasing. The new Infinite “ranking” means absolutely nothing to me. I made Infinite two weeks ago ranked at 27K, and now am ranked I’m at 57K - not because I lose, but more people are playing. What does that mean to me? Nothing. My snap points mean nothing.
Update: app initialization is much better. Thank you!
Next, playing this game for longer than 15-20 minutes sucks my battery like crazy. I’m on an iPhone 14 Plus, latest iOS version. What’s the reason for such heavy client-side processing?
Lastly, it’s still buggy. Card backs and avatars don’t load on the Deck selection view. During play, cards get stuck in animation when fast app switching or backgrounding during play.
Update: Fixed: Cosmic Ghost Rider’s first time animation crashes the app every time.
I do love this game; it’s gorgeous and fun, but the friction points make it less than perfect, and I know Second Dinner has a high standard for quality and engagement. Please, please meet the expectations of your users!

Not great but used to be
Overall the state of the game is awful. They nerfed an extremely essential counter card just so they could sell the current months premium card. That being said, it’s nearly impossible getting infinite because of the AWFUL decision making. I will not be returning nor spending my money on this garbage after this review. Hopefully they take this review and make improvements to the current situation. Reader just save yourself the trouble and go play MAGIC:THE GATHERING. Way better than this game. Leagues actually.

broken and unplayable
app is currently unplayable on iphone se and all the way up to some newer iphones its always been poorly optimized for iphone and eats all the ram on the phone up but as of a week ago it just crashes constantly even when doing nothing every 30 seconds it crashes hit up support the reply “ we are looking into it you may need a new phone” no you clowns need to actually have your team optimize the game on iphones and apple devices it has ALWAYS had crash ram usage and memory leak issues but now its literally unplayable anyone reading this doesn’t believe me go do some research on “marvel snap iphone crash” youll find plenty of posts on various sites especially recently about it being utterly broken
the devs should be offering full refunds at this point for any purchases given they just refuse to fix the game but keep listing it as compatible w so many devices when it clearly isnt and at this point its fraud to even have it up and offer anything purchase related in it as you cant play it to use said purchases
its a shame because the games awesome but the company wants to be lazy

Difficult to get new cards
It’s been a couple of years since I played Marvel Snap. I would’ve given it 5 Stars but it seems harder to get new cards. It seems you have to buy a lot of them now. You used to get some from caches but now they just give you credits most of the time.

Amazing game want more abilities on cards
Amazing game! It’s fun, engaging, and keeps me coming back. One feature I’d love to see is card variants with different abilities. It would make collecting variants feel more meaningful and add even more strategy and variety to deck building. Overall, it’s a fantastic game that I’d definitely recommend!

Loved Marvel Snap been playing nearly since launch. The game has become so unstable that it’s impossible to play. The game crashes so frequently that you end up missing turns and losing games that are entirely the result of these issues.

The game keeps getting worse
I had to change my review to one star after this season. I've wanted to put a new deck together, but that’s impossible as going through your card collection crashes the app over and over again. I made it Infinite this season, but this buggy junk didn’t apply the win for some reason putting me back to six cubes shy I was at. I had photo evidence and reported it. After sending the picture, explaining the issue, then using the “report bug” option (the person helping me wouldn’t do anything until I did that). Then they trued to get me to visit the shop to spend money. Eventually I was given 4 cubes for my troubles (not the six I had earned). I had made it to Infinity again anyway, but now their bugs are effecting rank status. I used to spend real money when this game was playable, but I would never waste it here anymore as who knows if my purchase will even count? My win to Infinity didn’t first time around.
