The problem is that I have components like the supertruck that will not be scanned in even though it is supported in the app and the fast and furious cars are not part of this and this unplayable I old not recommend downloading this unless you just have the base game

The Phantom Nuke cars do not exist in the app. Unable to figure out how to get the to even show up. In the trucks the x52 ice does not show up in the app. Others are there but unable to select. Tells you to put on charger then nothing. Can’t use.

App did not work at all

I come home from college to try to have family fun with my little brother and my dad and the app is so terrible now that when I’m connected to wifi it says I’m not and won’t allow me to play. Please fix what used to be a great game.

Bought this because I have android also. This version doesn’t support fast and furious cars like android. Please update

I can’t connect my Fast and Furious cars

Great game but the cars cannot for the life of them stay on the track even after cleaning the wheels and track.

Softwares super buggy. App freezes and I can’t even select my basic 2 cars I got with the set. The app used to be free (I think) because I don’t remember ever paying for it and it doesn’t even work now. Also I thought it was the cars acting up and first and brought out a old fast and the furious set I never opened as a kid and found out you can only use that with a separate app they no longer have available. I remember this being awesome but I can’t use it now because the app won’t even let me connect to the cars.

Opened up the app in 2026, and so much is broken. Please do a bug fix. These cars are nostalgic and a lot of people would appreciate it.

So I have adf this since 2024 it worked all out through 2024 and the start through 2025 but in the spring of 2025 the cars stopped connecting to the app only one worked not the other ones

It would be a huge plus if they would add support for the fast and furious vehicles. It’s a bummer to have bought vehicles from a company and then have them not be usable on their app.

Thanks for bringing 2.6 back. However super trucks don’t work, the app crashes whenever you tap scan track. Please fix super trucks. To add to that, support for Nuke Phantom doesn’t exist.

Software is out of date, do not waste your money on this app

I recently found my old anki overdrive stuff and decided to test it out but I had the fast and furious version of the game and from everything I’ve tried the fast and furious exclusive cars won’t connect. Is there any way to fix this? If so, please lmk

This product was ahead of its time and didn’t deserve to be bankrupt. Think about bringing it back.

I’m 22 now but I have played and owned overdrive since I was 12 or 13 it’s completely different from what I remember I can’t even save my tournament mode progress which is really frustrating because as a kid I couldn’t and never really got to chance to beat the game now as a adult I want to beat the game but can’t accomplish it at all I still so enjoy anki overdrive very much just please update and tweak the app just one more time if yall can I know the company now is no more here with us but just please

I haven’t used mine in awhile, but from what I do recall when downloading this (awhile back) is that 2.6 has the original storyline (which is better) but I also remember it restarted my cars progress, nonetheless, with the advancement of ai and computer technology from what? 2015 to now? You could totally do a third anki overdrive set with more advanced AI’s as well as could probably make glasses now to visually show you what’s happening on the track. I think it would be a great idea if they did this. I’m rating it 4 stars because the storyline is better than whatever anki overdrive did with the later years. Don’t know why they changed it to just 4 characters who repeat.

I’m really disappointed that I can’t use the fast & furious cars with this version. Other than that it’s ok.

It’s a pretty good app, if it could work right. It won’t sync with the trucks well, you can’t disconnect vehicles, and every time I tap begin scan, it crashes the app. There are too many glitches, and needs a dire iOS update, since not many of these glitches and problems are on android versions. It can’t sync with the Fast and Furious cars, a feature which does not work on iOS, but does on Android also. There are also some other little issues that I can’t mention here, this review is long enough. Please update.

Terrible, won’t work with other devices, iPad or other iPhone

I recently attempted to use my Anki Overdrive racing system, which I have owned and carefully stored for years. Upon doing so, I discovered that the original Anki Overdrive app is no longer available, and that control of the vehicles now requires your paid replacement application (“Overdrive 2.6”). I purchased this app for approximately $3.00 in good faith. Unfortunately, despite following all provided instructions and extensive troubleshooting, the app is entirely non-functional for its intended purpose. The vehicles will not pair or connect reliably (or at all) with a modern iPhone, rendering the physical product unusable. As a result, I am left with hardware that cannot be operated due solely to software and support failures outside of my control. Charging customers for an application that does not reliably function — particularly when it is the only supported method to operate previously purchased hardware — is unacceptable. The lack of clear documentation, the removal of legacy support, and the absence of a reliable pairing solution effectively brick a product that was sold as a premium, long-term system. I find this situation especially disappointing given that customers are being asked to pay again simply to access functionality that was originally included at purchase — and even then, it doesn’t work.

Tournament is being dumb because when I beat crash bot and I go to cam it just resets me back to crash bot. But open play is great👍. I love to do king of the hill with skull,groundshock, and thermo. Thank you do for updating the overdrive app. Just please get tournament fixed.
