The game became virtually unplayable without purchases and fills like a big scam. All levels have 15 or less moves, which is mathematically not enough to pass the level. The boosters are 50% of the time are worthless as well: fish is clearing useless cells and often triggering other boosters to waste; color bombs clear the most useless colors, etc.

What happened?
What happened to this specific Candy Crush? You literally start with so many less moves than you used to. Even when you go back and look up these levels being played on YouTube, they were starting off with 30 moves and now we get like 15-18 moves per level. That’s not enough. Try a different strategy to make people spend money on this game, but this is just not right.

They’ve drastically reduced the number of moves per level and made it much harder to get gold bars. These changes were clearly made just to force players to spend real money to advance.

I want the old version back
Dear King, I really wanted the old version back for years, everyone is missing all of the old stuff and I hope everything like the music, sound effects, and events are all brought back. It brings me all of the nostalgia. Its the one thing that keeps me happy, I still like some of the new stuff, but not that much.

Every level 15 moves or less
I give up on this game. How are you supposed to pop 24 bottles in 15 moves? For the last month every single level is between 12 and 15 moves making extra hard levels impossible to pass. Older versions of the same levels had at least 10 more moves than what it’s showing now.

Becomes impossible without $$$
Played on and off for years, hit level 5000+. Somewhere in the 4000’s many levels become difficult to impossible without the fish double bonus. After 5000 it’s been a slog of waiting for the right power ups or being willing to pay for them…. Once in a while the $2.99 bundle can be worth it if you have an extra tough one, but lately it’s every 4-5 levels that you basically need the perfect luck to even pass it. So I will be uninstalling for good this time since it’s becoming pay to even have a chance to progress

Terrible mechanics
The game’s boosters couldn’t be worse. I just deleted it after a level where I needed one block destroyed to win- and the candy fish I tapped went and broke a completely random one. Also no ads is nice, but the only way to get currency to continue levels is to spend a ridiculous amount of real money. Don’t download this game, it is SO not worth it.

Too many changes
This is a game i play a lot on airplane mode when traveling. New updates all of a sudden need wifi to load episodes so they can give you ads all day. Too many colorful updates during game play. The level board looks too much. If it aint broke dont fix it.

I have played this game daily for years and years and years, I bought the game. Loved it. They have changed everything so that you have to buy things, use your bars or watch ads to get to a new level. It is obvious all they want is money, which I get, everyone needs to be paid but this is ridiculous. I will be uninstalling and not playing anymore King games. Highly recommend not playing this game.
