Thought out and researched
Mostly interactive education. Noting one correction: ww2 german soldiers who had children they abandoned, did not love the mothers. They coercive graped them using both the war awarded authority and the lies of love. People who love don’t abandon. That aside, I really appreciated the reality shared here. From how sometimes there are no right words or safe places to how poverty increases the harm society does. I appreciate those who shared their stories and those that created this way to educate how easily those who are traumatized allow their pain to be passed down. Heart wrenching to see people who were once considered less than treat children the same way in the name of their own pain.

He didn’t fit in nowhere because of his race and I feel like that cause I’m a black sheep a outcast I love this game and I’m so happy I found out y’all made a second version. This is a perfect game if you ever wanna take care of someone else.🖤

Best game ever
I never usually write games or apps reviews but this game really affected me. I’ve played it twice in my lifetime and I’m planning on doing that again. It’s a very very emotional game. I have never felt so sad and heart broken and happy for a game. I really hope all the people that went through a similar Experience are happy and safe. No child deserves to feel like this even if it’s just a game but it might also be very very close to to reality to some people. People from that time really have suffered from racism and something they didn’t do and I think victims in war really deserve to be helped and taking care of specially specially orphans. I deeply want to think whoever made this game and I’m really just so grateful. I don’t know how to express my myself to you. English isn’t my first language so I really apologise if anything didn’t seem clear to anyone.

Highly recommended
This I going to sound crazy but…I gained real affection for my child and I can’t stand the cruel people I could go on and on about it but I don’t want to spoil it.in conclusion, if you are looking to feel joy and tears this game is definitely worth the three dollars ❤️

Very unique game!
This is a pretty unexpected sim. I really love it and the sister game/sequel: New Beginnings. This one, though, really made me cry. The story draws you in and you empathize with the child. It is somewhat frustrating that you don’t have the choice to go a little more “mama/papa bear” with the narrative but the helplessness seems integral to the plot. Both games are good but New Beginnings makes more sense if you play this one first and bring the same child (save file) over to the second. Also, I like that you get an historical insight into the occupation of Norway in WWII. It’s a very simple and quick game as far as play through but you can tell the devs put heart into it.

Heartbreaking
This game really broke me. Karin is such a little angel, and the ending with Solheim broke my heart. Seeing her shut down and refuse to bathe or eat really hurt me. I felt so maternal towards her the entire time, I was glued to this game for 4 and a half hours straight. Maybe 5 hours at most. I will never get over this game. You did a truly amazing job at capturing how evil people can be. I only wish Mr Berg would’ve been my child’s permanent teacher, rather than having been replaced by Solheim.

My thoughts
I was so excited to see new updates and Christmas town with different item cookies but it now stuck on the snow globe and won’t let me go the next day for cookie ingredients and it sometimes repeats days over twice so I deleted and redownloaded but it’s still doing the same things can’t wait for new stuff with upgrades please thank u I love this game just need a few updates here and there

What a game.
I love this game and have played it twice already since i recently played it because of the new game coming out. It brings me comfort when the child is happy just how it breaks me when certain things occur in the story. Very well made game and very touching, Everyone should play it at least once.

Truly brings to light what so many children went through during these times. Very educational, heartfelt, and emotional. I adore this game and am excited to play the next one.

I don't think this game is worth it.
I'm a Chinese player. To be honest, it makes me think it's not worth it! 1. This game has serious physical limitations. 2. The process is very long and boring, almost every day 3. The boring time is too long and there is no new idea. This price is too worth it! I'm tired of it after half a day. -Google

Life changing game
Dude when i tell you that this game is life changing, I mean it. It really opens your eyes on the conflicts that took place during and after WW2. Not only that, there’s so much plot. I found myself genuinely caring for Karin, and I was so sad when the game ended. If you have any interest in the Holocaust or WW2, or you just want a sad yet fulfilling game to play, choose this one.

Very good game. The reviewer who said that it was a bad game and that the child was never happy and didn’t appreciate anything you did for them, put yourself into their shoes and try to act happy about your life.😭

Para reflexionar
Estuvo increíble, muy real, muy triste y para ponernos a pensar. Me hizo llorar, creo que a más de uno porque recrea genuinamente la vida que pudo experimentar cada niño.
