Alternative to Tivimate for Android but support is suspect
If you’ve ever tried Tivimate on Android (Nvidia Shield etc), you know that it’s is the premier IPTV client for that system. Nothing else comes close. Tivimax - after extensive testing of other clients comes the closest on the Apple/Mac ecosystem.
Be warned that development of this app currently and I fear going forward is spotty at best. Developer sporadically visits their Discord page (this is the page they have designated as their official support portal). Bug fix requests are rarely acknowledged or acted on. For example, they recently released an update but that took over a year to happen and there doesnt seem to be any information available as to what was fixed or updated?
This is not a cheap $2 app. For $20 I feel it should have MUCH better support response.
Update: Dev has gone completely silent on their Discord channel. I cannot recommend this app.

so far, so good!
coming from Tivimate on a Google tv streamer box, i was nervous to see what an Apple TV equivalent would be like or if it even existed. i was super relieved to learn that this is nearly a 1:1 copy. there’s only a few minor differences and it has a few improvements over TM in my opinion.
player is silky smooth and the UI is great. i’m unsure how many devices you get with the $20 app purchase as i know TM gives you 5-6 (i forget)
so far i have zero complaints!

Too many issues every month!
There’s always an issue with this app every single month! You update the app n whatever you guys fix in the app always leaves another issue smh.. love the interface n functionality of the app whenever it decides to work properly which is hardly ever. Gonna give it another couple of weeks to see if it improves but if not then I’ll just go with someone else

Unstable Compared to Other IPTV Players
Whatever I’m watching fades out and pauses frequently. So I have to switch to another IPTV Player to complete whatever I’m watching.
Additionally, the EPG shows “No Information” for all TV Channels, even after manually downloading the Full EPG.
So, instead of drastically changing the appearance of this App recently, which I do not like, the developers should have improved the stability and quality of this App.

Dislike New Appearance
Appearance changed with last update where it’s now difficult to read the EPG in TV mode as EPG is now mixed with the show in the background. I like the previous appearance before the last App update, where the EPG & show were separated.

Garbage app waste of money

Best IPTV Player for MAC/IOS
Have tried a lot of IPTV players… Chillio, IPTV Smarters Pro, etc. and I like this the best. If you want an EPG/TV Guide similar to what you get with Cable/Satellite tv - this is the one to beat. Uses M3U and Xtreme feeds.

No updates by developers
The app players are freezing up after a couple of minutes. Have had this as a backup as I use iSTB app which has powerful players.
Hafifa your app sucks. You need a complete upgrade.
Also after finding a channel for example you cannot save it as favorites.

Picture in picture
Picture in Picture seems to not be working now with the new iOS’s. Also would be nice if AirPlay is possible, not screen mirroring but AirPlay casting.

Keeps crashing
App keeps crashing after restoring from iCloud back up. Won’t load my playlist and then crashes to Home Screen. Everytime. Works fine on Apple TV.

All favorites no longer works
On apple tv the all favorites group no longer shows favorites from all other portals. This was my favorite feature. Also hiding groups also hides all channels. The show channels from hidden groups does not work.

Terribe app ridden with bugs
It’s so bad that you can’t even watch a TV show. If you start watching on demand TV show, the live TV channel starts playing in the background. Ridiculous.

Freezes to much
Nice app. Has the feel of tivimate. But freezes too much. I just purchased your premium app but certainly doesn’t feel like. Fix the problem otherwise is pointless to call it premium.

Freezing at loading channels startup
Freezing at loading channels startup. After last updates the app for Apple Tv 4k freezing at startup screen loading channels. This is unacceptable for an app that cost 20$….VERY VERY BAD..when i bought it the app was good. Now is very bad. Freezing about 2min.

Works Well…mostly
It’s a solid app but the UX patterns need some work. Going back and forth, bringing up EPG, finding settings aren’t that intuitive. I my opinion, the user experience is severely holding this app back. If it took a few pages out of the TiVimate playbook, this could capture a huge chunk of users wanting to use AppleTV

No PIP?
Why isn’t that the highest backlog item at this point. Who in their right mind doesn’t think this is needed? I want the video to continue to play in a small window like virtually every other app in existence.

Good but not great
I have been using the TiviMax app for about 1 year. It has a good interface but it’s lacking features to make it great!
Show recording is missing, I really don’t understand catchup, even after all this time and the search feature only locates channels not events or shows.
Please add these must needed features!
